At this time, Maple Tree Speech Therapy is not in-network with any insurance companies and accepts private pay only. We will gladly provide a superbill upon request which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

  • Cash, check, or credit card payments are accepted. Payments are due prior to each therapy session.

  • Services will be provided in the home or via teletherapy.

  • Yes. There is a higher rate for in-home sessions to account for travel.

  • Parents/guardians can refer their own child. A formal referral is not required.

  • Not always. If there has been a recent evaluation conducted at school or privately, we will review the evaluation and determine if any additional assessment is needed or if treatment can begin without it.

  • We work with children of any age under 18.

  • The frequency of speech therapy sessions will be specific to your child and the goals they are working on for their speech and language. The specifics of therapy frequency will be discussed following a comprehensive evaluation.

  • Regular attendance is required to support your child’s progress in their speech and language development. If you need to cancel appointments for a known absence (e.g., travel, vacation, or other planned event), please inform your therapist within 1 week of the scheduled appointment. If you need to cancel your appointment due to a sudden or unforeseen absence (e.g., illness), families are asked to do so at least 48 hours in advance. We do allow 1 last minute cancellation (12 hours in advance) per semester without consequence. If you fail to cancel appointments as described, you will be billed the full amount for the session.

  • If you miss a scheduled session without informing your clinician, you will be billed the full amount for the session.
